6. Shane Battier – Memphis Grizzlies

7. Eddie Griffin – New Jersey Nets (rights traded to Houston)

8. DeSagana Diop – Cleveland Cavaliers

9. Rodney White – Detroit Pistons

10. Joe Johnson – Boston Celtics

Who?

With the last pick in the 2001 draft, the Spurs took unknown Tony Parker from Spain. Other players taken before Parker: Kirk Haston, Michael Bradley, and Jeryl Sasser.
